Chelsea Dorsette’s fifth novella, LEGALLY TIED, combines all of the elements that make this book hard to put down.

When prosecuting attorney Nick Olson meets interior designer Lyndsay Welch, both of their lives are turned upside down in ways they would never have imagined.

Not long after Lyndsay is introduced to sex parties and erotic lingerie shops by her best friend, she finally submits to her sexual desires for Nick which she had been vehemently trying to deny since they met.

While being breathlessly swept away by this handsome and powerful attorney, little did Lyndsay know, her life would soon be turned upside down by a senseless murder, a violent kidnapping, a tragic death, and a devastating break up.

Unable to face any more grief, Lyndsay moves to the quiet little seaside town of Bristol, Rhode Island to get a fresh start.

Just as things are starting to finally quiet down, an unexpected visit from someone in her past comes knocking at her door, changing the course of her life...forever.

EXCERPT:

It didn’t take more than five minutes for Lindsay to know she was going to buy the rundown  English Tudor style bungalow that was located right on the end of Main Street. It had been abandoned for years and the town residents had all but given up hope that someone would buy it and nurse it back to its once quaint and charming beauty. Even though it was badly in need of repair and landscaping, Lindsay saw the great bones of it’s structure and fell in love with it immediately.  She had always adored bungalow style homes that were popular in the early 1900’s, but she hadn’t seen one this special in a long time. As she stood on Main Street staring at it, she couldn’t contain her excitement thinking about her plans for restoring it. Calling the phone number on the realtor sign that was propped up against the dilapidated picket fence adorning the front yard of the home, Lindsay called and set up an appointment with the realtor to do a complete walk through the next day. Getting back into her car Lindsay rejoiced at her good fortune finding this diamond in the rough and she couldn’t wait until tomorrow to begin the process of what she hoped was a successful new beginning in Bristol, the beautiful sea side Rhode Island town that had captured her heart. As Lindsay pulled away from the curb, she cast one more sideways glance at the house she had fallen in love with and hoped it would finally be the healing touch and the new beginning she so desperately needed.
