Bryn McCaskey is young, naïve, and can talk to
ghosts...
Like her mother and grandmother, Bryn comes from a
breed of witches called The Keepers of the Lost Souls. Their main purpose is to
guard those spirits who are permanently or temporarily grounded in the world of
the living. Handling supernatural creatures is something which comes naturally
to Bryn, however, dealing with people is a whole different story.
As her 18th birthday approaches it's time for her to
take on her first assignment. Bryn is forced to confront her inability to
communicate with others in an effort to save the one soul that can mean the
difference between life and death for mankind.
Johnny Shaw is a lost soul with a personal vendetta
against witches...
A vendetta he has carried on even after death. As
much as he hate's them he must join forces with a keeper witch, in order to
stop a century old threat. When fate brings them together, not only will they
be forced to learn how to work as a team, but they will have to depend on each
other to stop an evil witch carrying a six hundred year grudge!

Reviews
“A
titillating tale of a guardian witch caught in a plot that would change her
life. Evil, good and powerful love become the focus as you wind your way
through this spellbinding work of fiction.”—James Long,
Amazon Reviewer.
“Keeper
of the Lost Souls by Kristy Centeno is a great paranormal read. Witches,
spirits and magic abound. I'm a fan of the paranormal genre, but lately haven't
found a book I really enjoyed. This book is it! I liked the characters and felt
the story line was unique. The romance between the characters is sweet.”
–Brooke Bumgardner, Amazon Reviewer.
“This
is a great book, I love the story line. The paranormal relationship with
Marianne is so funny, and the love interest with Johnny. The ups and downs keep
you wanting more!” –Tristan, Amazon Reviewer.
Excerpt:
I reached out with my one free hand and touched the
side of her face. “You’re too modest, Bryn.” She flinched, but didn’t make a
move to stop my exploring fingers as they caressed the side of her face. “The
way I see it, you don’t have to deal with Marianne at all. You choose to do it
because even though she made your life miserable, you feel sorry for her. You
helped Karen because she needed the help. If you hadn’t stepped in to show her
how she was screwing up her life, she would have gotten herself killed
eventually. Had you been a self-involved, selfish brat of a girl, you wouldn’t
have cared about either girl’s fate, but you’re not like that. You’re special.
You’re the kind of girl any guy would love to have by their side. You’re
pretty, smart, and multi-talented. What more can a guy ask for?” Bryn didn’t look at me, but I could see her cheeks turn scarlet. I got the impression she wasn’t used to getting compliments and the possibility bothered me. Were people out in the real world blind? Couldn’t they see how special she was?
“Bryn, look at me.” When she made no moves to accommodate my request, I took hold of her chin and forced her head around. Her big brown eyes met mine and I could clearly read the uncertainty reflected in them.
“What’s wrong?”
“I’ve never been called pretty before,” she blurted.
